TRACE3: TECHNOLOGY
VIDEO PRODUCTION CASE STUDY
Bringing Trace3's partnership with Mary Free Bed to life via powerful technology storytelling.
TRACE3 PROJECT OVERVIEW

A technology video production showcasing Trace3's partnership with Mary Free Bed through authentic customer testimonials and compelling corporate storytelling.
Trace3, a national technology solutions provider specializing in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence, partnered with Visionaery Productions to create a compelling customer success story featuring Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
As Trace3 expanded its customer testimonial video production efforts across the eastern United States, the company sought a reliable production partner capable of capturing authentic client experiences and delivering professional video content that reflected its brand and expertise.
Our technology video production focused on telling the story of Trace3's partnership with Mary Free Bed through an interview with Jason Peoples, Head of Technology and Innovation. By combining authentic customer perspectives with cinematic visuals, we set out to demonstrate the real-world value of Trace3's technology solutions and the relationships behind its success.
TECHNOLOGY VIDEO PRODUCTION CHALLENGE
As a national technology solutions provider, Trace3 needed a reliable video production partner to expand its customer success storytelling efforts across the eastern United States. With an established production workflow on the West Coast, the company sought a team capable of delivering consistent, high-quality content while representing its brand professionally across different locations and industries.
For its first project with Visionaery Productions, Trace3 wanted to highlight its partnership with Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The challenge was to communicate the value of Trace3's complex IT solutions through an authentic customer perspective, making the story relatable and engaging for audiences who may not have a technical background.
Filming inside an active rehabilitation hospital also presented logistical considerations. Our team needed to coordinate interview locations, capture compelling supporting footage, and work efficiently within the facility while respecting its daily operations. The finished production also needed to support multiple marketing channels, from large-screen corporate presentations to shorter digital advertising campaigns.

THE VISIONAERY APPROACH
Our approach to Trace3's technology video production focused on capturing an authentic customer success story while maintaining the professional production quality expected from a national technology brand. We began with a location scout at Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital to identify suitable interview locations, plan supporting footage, and coordinate production logistics within the active healthcare facility.
On production day, we conducted an interview with Jason Peoples, Head of Technology and Innovation at Mary Free Bed, using a professional two-camera setup, lighting, and audio equipment. Our team also captured cinematic B-roll throughout the hospital, utilizing a mobile equipment cart to efficiently move between locations while minimizing disruption to daily operations. To ensure the strongest possible exterior visuals, we returned on a separate day with better weather conditions to capture aerial drone footage of the facility.
During post-production, we combined Jason's interview with supporting hospital footage, aerial cinematography, professional color grading, and audio mixing to create a cohesive customer success story. Our editing approach emphasized the real-world value of Trace3's technology solutions while maintaining an engaging narrative that could be adapted for corporate presentations, digital advertising, and other marketing channels.
FINAL VIDEO DELIVERY
The completed technology video production provided Trace3 with a collection of professional customer success videos showcasing its partnership with Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital. The primary deliverable was a three-minute testimonial video featuring Jason Peoples, Head of Technology and Innovation, sharing his experience working with Trace3 and the value of their ongoing relationship.
In addition to the main video, we produced 60-second and 30-second versions tailored for different marketing applications. The longer-form videos were designed for corporate presentations, in-person events, and large-screen displays, while the shorter edits supported digital advertising, social media, and OTT marketing campaigns.
Together, these deliverables gave Trace3 a versatile collection of video marketing assets that could reach audiences across multiple platforms. By adapting the same authentic customer story into multiple formats, we helped Trace3 communicate its expertise, reinforce customer trust, and showcase the real-world impact of its technology solutions.

VISIONAERY VIDEO IMPACT
The completed technology video production gave Trace3 a compelling customer success story that demonstrated the value of its IT solutions through the perspective of a trusted client. By featuring Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital and its Head of Technology and Innovation, Jason Peoples, the videos provided authentic, real-world insight into how Trace3 supports organizations through technology and strategic partnerships.
With multiple video versions tailored for corporate events, presentations, digital advertising, and OTT campaigns, Trace3 gained versatile marketing assets designed to reach different audiences across multiple platforms. The combination of genuine customer testimony and professional cinematography helped communicate complex technology solutions in an accessible, engaging format.
Trace3 was extremely pleased with the finished production, and the project's success established the foundation for an ongoing relationship with Visionaery Productions. What began as a single customer testimonial became the starting point for additional technology video production opportunities, demonstrating the value of consistent storytelling and a dependable production partnership.
BEHIND THE TECH VIDEO PRODUCTION
Filming inside an active rehabilitation hospital required careful coordination, flexibility, and a strong commitment to patient privacy. Throughout production at Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital, our crew worked closely with a hospital public relations representative who accompanied us during filming and helped determine which areas, activities, and visuals could be captured.
Protecting patient privacy was a priority. Whenever a patient entered an area where we were filming, production temporarily stopped until they had passed. This required our team to remain adaptable, carefully frame each shot, and work efficiently while respecting the hospital's daily operations and privacy requirements.
These considerations extended beyond our primary production day. When we returned to capture aerial drone footage under more favorable weather conditions, we again coordinated with the hospital's PR representative to ensure the filming was conducted appropriately. Despite the additional oversight and logistical requirements, Mary Free Bed's team was accommodating and collaborative throughout the process, allowing us to capture the footage needed while maintaining a professional, respectful production environment.
